Allah, may He be glorified, loves the effects of His blessings to His slave to be made manifest, for this is part of the beauty that He loves, and that is part of the gratitude for His blessings which forms an inner beauty (beauty of character). A true servant of Allah (awj) is he for whom obedience to Allah (awj) is sweet and Allah’s (awj) love is delight; he is intimate with Allah (awj) and relies on Him for all his needs. Servitude can be summed up in three things. "Divorce your heart from the world and Allah will love you..." (Ibn Majah, 4102). You know when I mention this hadith, I get goosebumps! "Allah is gentle and loves gentleness. When Allah loves a servant. When Allah loves a servant, He calls Gabriel and says: Verily, I love so and so and you also should love him. Allah says: My love is due for those whose hearts are free of grudges and who uphold ties with one another for My sake. Allah says: And My servant continues to draw nearer to Me with supererogatory (nawafil) prayers so that I shall love him… The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people. If Allah Loves You, You’ll Gain Two Things: 1- ALLAH WILL MENTION YOU BY NAME. So Gabriel begins to love him. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "If Allah loves a person, He calls Gabriel, saying, 'Allah loves so and so, O Gabriel love him' So Gabriel would love him and then would make an announcement in the Heavens: 'Allah has loved so and-so therefore you should love him also.' Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “When Allah loves a servant, he calls Gabriel and he says: Verily, I love this person so you should love him.Then Gabriel loves him and makes an announcement in the heavens, saying: Allah loves this person and you should love him. And from the signs of Allah’s love of His servant is that he loves to meet Allah at the time of his death as indicated in the Hadith narrated by Abu Musa: “Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him, and whoever hates to meet Allah, Allah hates to … We relate the following, by way of example: "Allah loves a servant who is magnanimous in his business dealings..." (Malik, al-Muwatta, 1376). The Prophet ﷺ (PBUH)shows us some ways that Allah shows His love: “When Allah loves someone he calls to Jibreel ‘alayhi salatu wassalam (may Allah be pleased with him) saying, ‘O Jibreel, I love such and such a person, so love him.’ Then Jibreel will call to the angels of the heavens.
